中国中轻国际工程有限公司(CLIEC) 即原中国轻工业北京设计院，成立于1953年1月。2000年10月成为交中央管理的大型科技型设计企业，2001年2月更名为中国轻工国际工程设计院，2003年1月改制更名为中国轻鑫工程有限责任公司，2004年4月更名为中国中轻国际工程有限公司。现为国务院国资委监管的中央企业“中国保利集团有限公司”的下属企业。
中轻国际是以咨询、设计、监理、项目管理、工程总承包为主体业务的大型工程公司，拥有进出口企业资格证书；轻纺全行业、化工石化医药行业（化工工程）、市政行业（排水工程、环境卫生工程）、农林行业（林产化学工程）、建筑行业（建筑工程）和环境工程专项（水污染防治工程、大气污染防治工程）设计甲级资质；城乡规划、商物粮行业、化工石化医药行业（生化、生物药、化学原料药）、电力行业（火力发电）、建材行业（新型建筑材料工程）、市政行业（给水工程、城镇燃气工程、热力工程）和环境工程专项（固体废物处理处置工程）设计乙级资质；机电工程施工总承包和建筑装饰装修工程专业承包贰级资质；建筑工程施工总承包、冶金工程施工总承包、石油化工工程施工总承包及环保工程专业承包叁级资质；工程监理、工程造价甲级资质；压力容器、压力管道设计许可证以及工程咨询资信甲级证书。
中轻国际现有从业人员700余人，其中：国家级设计大师2人、享受政府特殊津贴的专家3人、轻工行业设计大师6人；教授级高级工程师58人、高级职称156人、各类国家注册工程师231人次、工程总承包项目经理47人。
中轻国际为国内5000余家大中型企业，国外20多个国家的60余个大中型项目提供了咨询、工程设计、项目管理、总承包等服务，与国内外著名的300余家大型公司建立了实质性合作和业务往来关系。

China Light Industry International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CLIEC),the former "China National Beijing Contracting & Engineering Institute of Light Industry", was established in January 1953.
It became a large-scale scientific and technological engineering enterprise managed by the central government from October 2000, renamed China Light Industry International Engineering Design Institute in February 2001, restructured and renamed China Qing Xin Engineering Co., Ltd. in January 2003 and finally renamed China Light Industry International Engineering Co., Ltd. in April 2004. Now CLIEC is a subsidiary of China Poly Group Limited, a central enterprise supervised by the SASAC.
CLIEC is a large engineering company , with business focused on consulting, design, supervision, project management, and general engineering contracting. More than 700 employees, including 2 national design masters, 3 experts enjoying special government allowances, and 6 design masters in the light industry; 58 professor-level senior engineers, 156 senior engineers, 231 national registered engineers of various disciplines, and 47 general contracting project managers.
CLIEC has provided consulting, engineering, project management, and general contracting services for more than 5,000 clients in China and more than 60 large and medium-sized projects in more than 20 countries, and has established substantial cooperation and business relations with more than 300 famous large companies in domestic and international.
CLIEC has won more than 560 awards at the ministry (committee) level or above, including 71 national awards for excellent design, consulting, and scientific and technological progress, and has a total of 134 patents, including 35 invention patents.
